Michael is one of 4 founding Company Directors - He has over 14 years’ experience in teaching and delivering School Sport in primary schools. In these years he has achieved ‘Outstanding’ grades with OFSTED and has taken his school to become county and regional champions within a number of sports such as cricket, hockey and football. Michael studied at Charters Specialist Sports college where he completed his Level 1,2 and 3 in football coaching. He then went onto complete his Level 2 multi-skills, Level 3 in playwork and teaching qualifications such as PTLLS and DTLLS.
Scott has been leading school sport for over 12 years. His innovative approach has created opportunities for children of all abilities to access and enjoy sport. Scott has built a fantastic relationship with his school and it’s community - he has supported the development of ‘Mums’ and ‘Dads’ football within the Borough which has been a huge success. Scott studied sports coaching through college and has been applying his learning ever since. His qualifications read: UEFA B license coach, PTTLS, CTTLS, Assessors Award, Multi Skills Level 1 & 2 and Level 3 in Playwork. Scott is extremely excited for the future of NSSport and the influence that we will have on schools and sport.
Jack is an experienced coach with over 10 years of teaching school sport. He is passionate about developing their knowledge of different sports and showing them games and activities. He has completed his Level 2 coaching badges in Cricket and football as well as being a Level 2 qualified in teaching Multi Sports. He has also gained the PTLLS teaching qualification and is a Level 3 Playworker enabling him to run our holiday activity sites. Jack has gained success at his schools recently with his athletics team being borough champions for the last 5 years.His recent year 6’s winning the borough rugby plate and Years 3 + 4 winning the local basketball tournament. Jack’s main hobby is cricket and can regularly be found on the cricket field during the summer months.He also has an interest in football, rugby, cycling and cooking.
Sam has been in the sports industry for over 10 years and has a wealth of experience in delivering school sport. Sam spent two periods teaching in the USA; and has great experience in managing staff and school relations. His qualifications include Level 1 & 2 in coaching football, Level 2 swimming instructor, multi skills Level 1 & 2, Boccia qualified along with Level 3 in playwork. Sam’s passion lies in seeing children develop in their chosen sport and playing with a smile. Sam makes use of his spare time working for the Metropolitan Police Service as a Special Constable.
Keir has a completed his FA Level 1 coaching badge and is on his way to completing his NVQ Level 3 qualification in child play work which he is thrilled about. This achievement will enable Keir to further his development both in and on the coaching field. He has a real passion for coaching and helping children educate themselves in sport and putting a smile on children’s faces through sport.
Dan has over 10 years of experience delivering school sport. During this time he has acquired his Level 1, 2 & 3 coaching qualification in Football and Gymnastics. Dan has also completed the Multi-Sports Level 2 qualification, Level 3 in Playwork, PTLLS Teaching qualification, Child Protection & Safeguarding Training and Paediatric 1st Aid qualification. Dan also has experience in Teacher Training and has aided in the development of KS1 and KS2 teachers in the delivery of school sport. Dan has a passion for many sports, the biggest being football. This passion took him to the USA where he coached ‘Soccer’ to numerous children aged 3 - 18 years. Dan has some great memories of PE as a primary and secondary school student. His experiences in school sport have been influential in his life today. Dan now strives to give his students the same enjoyment in his lessons, teaching them important values which they can take forward into their adult lives.
Danny is an experienced Level 2 coach in football and multi skills and has recently completed a course in childcare and also playwork. Danny very much enjoys teaching and making a difference to kids lives through sport.
Luke is a passionate, hardworking coach and has over 6 years of experience in coaching and teaching and delivering of school sport. He has completed Level 3 awards in teaching PE and School Sport as well as a Level 2 in Mutli Skills. He has also attained his Level 1 and 2 in coaching football and is currently working on his Level 3 Playwork Qualification. He has a passion for sport and coaching and thrives off giving children and young people opportunities to develop, challenge themselves and set high standards for all sports. Luke is also passionate about trying to improve the quality of school sport and giving children the opportunity to represent their school in a number of sports.
Shelley is a BA (Hons) Business Information Systems graduate of Nottingham Trent University. Her career to date has been richly varied and she has worked in IT, marketing, administration and in education. She joined the NSSport team in January 2017 taking a lead role in marketing. With two children now at secondary school Shelley enjoys spending time helping at school and enjoys watching all sports, in particular, football.
Perrie is a FA Level 1 qualified coach in football using this to coach a U8s Sunday side. Perrie also has a 2nd class university degree studying Football studies at Southampton Solent University completing this in 2017. Perrie also has a real interest in a number of sports, his real passion comes from developing and educating children to improve not just on the sports field but off it as well.
Hassan has been delivering PE, after school clubs and lunch time activities in schools for over 7 years working both for a school and through companies providing PE provision. Hassan is a qualified Level 2 Athletics coach and has an NVQ Level 2 in activity leadership. In his spare time Hassan is a personal trainer and is also in the process of building an athletics club called Ladywell AC.
Jason has worked as a sports coach with children aged 4- 12 for over 4 years delivering school sports and clubs. He has experience as a sports leader as well as an after school care site manager. He has a level 2 NVQ certificate in Activity Leadership, leading health related activity sessions, employment awareness and leisure learning, paediatric first aid training, food hygiene and safety for catering. Fitness, competition and sport has always been a passion of his and he enjoys sharing this passion with the children he works with. He likes encouraging children to succeed, accomplish goals and participate in activities in a supportive and motivating manner
Aaron has been working in both primary and secondary schools, and within colleges for the last 4 years. He has achieved sports coaching qualifications through a college sports programme, and has gained a wealth of knowledge and experience throughout his coaching career. Aaron has a passion for sport and aims to get the best out of every individual he works with where he challenges and drives individuals to improve themselves. Aaron is also a volunteer at two local grassroots teams in his spare time and he is currently working towards his Level 3 in Football.
Tara's main focus is developing children's key skills through sport, not just sport related skills but life skills too. Tara has 5 years coaching experience teaching PE in schools and 3 years delivering personal training to both children and adults. Tara has achieved a Level 3 delivery in Physical Education and School Sport as well as a Level 3 in Employment Awareness in Active Leisure & Learning. In addition to this Tara has qualifications in the following: Bronze & Preliminary Tap, Silver & Bronze 3 Rookie Life Guarding, Level 2 Boxing PAD Coaching, Preliminary Ballet dance, Gold Musical Theatre, Level 7/6/5/4 British Gymnastic and Level 2 British Dodgeball Coaching.
Dean has been a youth worker and multidisciplinary project manager for 7 years and has also been interviewed on the BBC Radio London breakfast show discussing his youth project work. As well as a Level 2 in Food Hygiene, he is currently on track to complete his Level 2 Youth work, Level 2 Multi-skills and is working towards his Level 3 in Playwork. He has a huge passion for working with children and helping them develop and gain the best results possible.
Matt has been delivering sports sessions in schools and externally for more than 8 years. He is FA Level 2 Football and Basketball England Level 2 qualified. In 2018 Matt graduated from St Mary's University with a degree in Physical and Sport Education, this degree has given him the tools needed to deliver high quality sports sessions in any environment. Alongside working in schools, Matt has been working in senior and academy football for the last few years as a coach and analyst. Matt was a performance analyst for a national championship winning hockey team whilst at university. The love of sport and the passion for developing young people is at the centre of Matt's career goals. He believes that sport is for everyone, no matter what their background.
